YESHUA IS NOT GOD!!!! Oh really???

Where Did Yeshua Say He Was God?

Oh beloved, let’s rightly divide this Word with reverence and receipts because this question is not new—and neither is the ignorance behind it. The Pharisees asked it. The Sadducees fumbled it. And yet, here we are again, asking where Yeshua said the very thing that got Him crucified.

Let’s walk this slow, but bold:

🔹 1. John 8:58 – "Before Abraham was, I AM."

Yeshua didn’t say “I was,” He said “I AM”—a direct callback to Exodus 3:14, where YAH says to Moses:

“Tell them I AM has sent you.”

The crowd knew exactly what He was claiming—which is why in John 8:59 they picked up stones to kill Him. Not because He was cute with words. Because they knew He was declaring divinity.

🔹 2. John 1:1–3, 14

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”

The Word was God. And the Word became Yeshua. There’s no ambiguity—just rebellion to receive.

🔹 3. 1 Timothy 3:16 – "God was manifested in the flesh…"

No trinity gymnastics here. Paul lays it flat:

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”

Only Yeshua fits that profile. Who else was received up in glory and preached to the nations?

🔹 Exodus 3 – The Angel of the LORD in the burning bush

“And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire… And God called to him…”

Pause. First He’s the Angel of the LORD. Then He speaks as YAH Himself.

That’s a Christophany—Yeshua before flesh.

🔹 Joshua 5:13–15 – The Commander of the LORD’s army

Joshua bows down and worships Him—and He receives it.

No angel accepts worship.

Only God does. That’s Yeshua.

🔹 Daniel 3:25 – The Fourth Man in the Fire

“The fourth looks like a son of the gods.”

Nebuchadnezzar saw Him, and so did the three Hebrew boys. The One who walks in the fire is the One who would one day walk through hell to save us.

📜 Final Word: He Didn’t Just Say It—He Proved It

Yeshua didn’t come to play Pharisee games. He didn’t just say He was God—

He healed the sick, raised the dead, forgave sins, and received worship.

And only God has the authority to forgive sins (Mark 2:5–12).

So let’s stop pretending Yeshua has to say “I am God” in 21st-century English to validate His divinity when He walked, spoke, and fulfilled everything that YAH prophesied about Himself.

But let’s go ahead and rightly divide the Word and take it even deeper so we don’t just sit at the surface of symbolism, but understand the full spiritual significance and New Covenant fulfillment.

📜 THE SABBATH: FULFILLED IN YESHUA, OUR TRUE REST

You're correct that Sabbath was established at creation (Genesis 2:2–3) and reiterated in the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:8–11). But here's the revelation: Yeshua didn’t just keep the Sabbath—He IS the Sabbath.

“Come unto me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

“For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.” — Matthew 12:8

The Sabbath was a shadow—but Yeshua is the substance (Colossians 2:16–17). The real rest God was pointing to wasn’t just about a seventh day—it was about ceasing from our own works and entering into His finished work. ( Bunny trail: since the enemy has changed ged the times, calendars, seasons and even names for the day, it would be very difficult for all of humanity to truly honor a physical day).

“There remains a Sabbath-rest for the people of God... for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from His.” — Hebrews 4:9–10

See, the flesh could never fulfill the law. Romans 8:3 says it clearly:

“What the law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son…”

That’s why Yeshua had to come—not to abolish the law (Matthew 5:17), but to fulfill it—because our corrupted flesh was incapable of doing so. As it’s written:

“There is none righteous, no not one...” — Romans 3:10

That’s why we’re told in Romans 8:1–4 to walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Because the flesh is condemned—it will not be redeemed until we are transformed in the twinkling of an eye (1 Corinthians 15:52). Only then will we receive our glorified, incorruptible bodies. Until then? We lean not on our flesh—but on His Spirit and His righteousness.

👑 YESHUA'S RIGHTEOUSNESS IS NOW OURS

“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” — 2 Corinthians 5:21

"Yeshua is created.  He is the firstborn! "  WRONG.

Beloved, I appreciate your sincerity and willingness to wrestle with the Word—but let’s lovingly walk this out rightly dividing Scripture (2 Timothy 2:15), line upon line, precept upon precept (Isaiah 28:10).

You said, “God had to bring Jesus into existence.” That’s a common misunderstanding when reading verses like “firstborn” without full context or awareness of the Hebrew and Greek frameworks.

Let’s break this down.

📜 Firstborn Doesn’t Mean First Created.

The word “firstborn” (prototokos in Greek) as used in Colossians 1:15:

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation…”

The term prototokos (πρωτότοκος) is a position of rank, preeminence, and inheritance—not chronology. It's not saying He was created first—it's saying He ranks above all creation.

Same as in Psalm 89:27:

“I will make him the firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.”

That’s David—who wasn’t even the oldest. But God gave him position.

So in Jewish understanding, “firstborn” is about legal inheritance, authority, and status, not about origin. That’s why Jacob (the younger) received the “firstborn” blessing over Esau.

🔥 Yeshua Was NOT Created. He Is Eternal.

Let’s be clear: Yeshua (Jesus) was not “brought into existence.” The Scriptures testify He already existed with the Father from the beginning and even before time itself.

📖 John 1:1–3:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made.”

How can “all things” be made through Him if He Himself was made? That would make Him a created being creating Himself—illogical and not supported by Scripture.

📖 Micah 5:2 (speaking of the Messiah to be born in Bethlehem):

“...whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.”

(Hebrew: מִימֵי עוֹלָם – “from days of eternity”)

Yeshua wasn’t created—He was manifested in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). That’s the mystery of godliness.

🔁 Colossians 1:16-17 puts the nail in the coffin:

“For by Him all things were created… all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”

How can He be created and “before all things”? Again—He wasn’t made. He is. Period.

Beloved, let me pause you right there in the spirit of truth and love.

Because what you’ve said — that God is somehow pro-slavery — is not only improper exegesis, it’s an outright misrepresentation of the Most High’s character and the arc of His Word.

📖 First, understand this:

The Bible is not a fairy tale.

It’s a historical record — a raw, often brutal documentary of humanity’s sins, failures, rebellions, and the consequences that followed.

It doesn’t sanitize humanity’s depravity; it records it.

That means when you see slavery, genocide, incest, betrayal — you’re seeing the reality of fallen man, not the endorsement of a holy God.

🔥 Now let’s rightly divide the Word:

God condemns kidnapping and slave trade outright.

📜 Exodus 21:16

“Anyone who kidnaps another and either sells him or still has him when he is caught must be put to death.”

So let’s make it plain:

That means the entire transatlantic slave trade was an abomination punishable by death under God’s law.

God identifies Himself repeatedly as the deliverer from slavery.

📜 Exodus 20:2

“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.”

📜 Deuteronomy 7:8

“Because the LORD loved you… and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.”

He takes slavery personally — He literally calls Himself the One who breaks chains and sets captives free.

The entire mission of the Messiah, Yeshua, was to proclaim liberty.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor.

He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free…”

✋ And let’s deal with the false narrative about “slaves obey your masters.”

Those were instructions to people living under the Roman system — where over 30% of the population were bondservants, many voluntarily (like modern indentured workers). Paul gave pastoral advice for how to live under oppressive regimes — not a divine endorsement of man-made bondage.

If God was “pro-slavery,” why would Paul then write:

“Were you a slave when you were called? Don’t let it trouble you — although if you can gain your freedom, do so.”

🩸 The ultimate evidence?

God constantly uses slavery language to describe freedom in Him:

“But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.”

He flips the whole paradigm. The only “slavery” God endorses is a willing, love-bound servanthood to Him — a slavery that actually liberates from sin and death.

💔 So beloved, please don’t confuse God’s recorded history of dealing with sinful humanity for His endorsement of their sins.

The Bible records polygamy, child sacrifice, and slavery — but it also shows how God judged nations for these very things.

His heart is always deliverance.

His commandments upheld human dignity, protected the vulnerable, and pointed toward ultimate emancipation through Messiah.

Don’t project the wicked systems of man onto a holy God.

Study His entire Word, in context — from Genesis to Revelation — and you’ll see a consistent theme:

A God who frees captives, breaks yokes, and destroys oppression.

Because the same God who thundered,

📜 “Let My people go!” (Exodus 9:1)

has never changed.

Oh bless your theological heart, Manuel, but you’re parroting exactly what whitewashed Christianity packaged up and sold to keep believers passive, docile, and unprepared. Let me graciously untangle this.

1️⃣ Scripture refutes a pre-trib “rapture.”

The only catching away (harpazo) is AFTER the tribulation, not before it. Yeshua himself said it plain as day:

✍️ “Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days… they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send his angels… and they will gather his elect…”

(Matthew 24:29-31)

Paul confirms this sequence:

✍️ *“Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you… that you not be quickly shaken… for *that day will not come unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed.”

(2 Thessalonians 2:1-4)

So before the gathering (so-called “rapture”), the Antichrist is revealed. That means believers are still here.

2️⃣ Your Noah comparison actually works against pre-trib doctrine.

Noah went through the flood — God preserved him in the midst of judgment.

Israel endured the plagues of Egypt while protected in Goshen.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were in the fire, with Christ appearing among them.

Same pattern: God’s people are kept in the storm, not whisked away.

3️⃣ Tribulation is not God’s wrath.

The tribulation is Satan’s wrath against the saints (Revelation 12:12, 17).

God’s wrath comes later in the bowls (Revelation 16) — after the resurrection and catching away.

4️⃣ Revelation explicitly says the saints are still on earth during tribulation.

✍️ “It was given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them.”

(Revelation 13:7)

✍️ “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”

(Revelation 14:12)

So if the saints are gone, who’s the dragon fighting? Who’s patiently enduring?

🚨 Bottom line:

There is no secret pre-trib escape hatch. That doctrine was invented in the 1800s by John Nelson Darby and popularized by Scofield’s Bible — a scheme of dispensational theology that Rome and her Freemason buddies loved, because it made sure believers would do nothing to stand against Antichrist systems now.

The real gospel calls us to endure, overcome, and be refined — not run. That’s why Yeshua said:

✍️ “He who endures to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:13)

🙏🏽 **So brother — if you truly want eyes to see, crack your Bible without Scofield’s footnotes. Pray for the Holy Spirit to un-teach the doctrines of men. Because if we’re to follow the pattern of Noah, it means building our ark (faith, obedience, holiness) now, to withstand what’s coming — not expecting a helicopter evacuation before the rain falls.
