Thank you. Teaching critical thinking would be a good idea &

community control of local schools. The perversion of charter schools pretending to be public schools - that is, taking public money, public space for privatization has to be stopped. Privatization, outright, continuing creeping privatization, has been bad for people in re health care, the slide into it by the postal service, electricity, water supply, historically the rail road system, the ballot box (including electronic voting machines, and the software is "proprietary" = secret), prisons, city parks (e.g. NYC), etc etc.

I'm All for Principle of Worker's Collective Bargaining Rights

BUT- We have to be realistic about the history of most US main-stream trade Unions- especially at the Management level. The Fact is most of them have not been very progressive, w some unions having even helped to perpetuate the good ole white boys network for decades & even today [especially police & firemen's unions, but others aslo]. And- Main-stream unions have too often been sooo myopic & short-sighted in their vision IE: When Unions were at the height of their power in the 1950s, 60s & early 70s - they failed to push the envvelope to expand unions across the work-force, didn't push for a national health-care plan that would cover everyone [especially ALL Workers], the UAW backed Detroit's car maker's fight against higher CAFE standards & help push the SUV craze! Hell it turns out that the now defunct Air Traffic Controllers Union actually backed Ronnie Reagan [Talk about a clear-cut case of shooting yourself in the foot!]!
AND Most main-stream unions [at-least at the leadership level] have been joined at the hip to the Dims since- humm FDR's new deal maybe. You would think that after Slick NAFTA Willie ['That Sucking Sound You'll Here will be all those US jobs going over-seas...'] - that many/most unions would have cut ties w the Dims or at-least pressed real hard bargains w them to 'Make them Earn It' [union support] as opposed to 'Make me do it'.
Lets be clear Rahmbo became Chicago's 1st Jewish Mayor for 2 reasons 1: his connection to Chicago's Democrat machine, & 2: just as important if not more so- Obama's endorsement.
IMO- It's telling that the 2 main teachers unions can automaton-matically endorse Obama even as teachers of the US' 3rd largest public school system [CPS] have on-going discrimination suits against Obama's Sec of Ed & Ex-CPS 'CEO'- Arne Duncan, -&- Obama's ex-chief of staff & current Chicago mayor- Rahmbo... - Even if they were inclined to give Obama & Duncan a pass on RTTT's school Deforms!

I am a Licensed/Ordained Missionary Baptist (Gospel) Minister since 08/1991; a sixth generation Texan, who know the Black History of the deliberate racist will of the alive and well Confederate Ideology that still exist in The South. When I read that this young Black pastor has ties to George Dubya Bush and a controversial ally to racist code speaker, Rick Santorum. I am a month away from being 61 years of age and I have seen both sides of the line that cross The African Americans/Blacks over from Jim Crow Era to the EQUALITY given us by The Laws of Civil Rights; an equality that was ours from the very first day of the birth of this Sovereign Nation because our blood co-mingled with all who fought and died for the Sovereignty given by The Guiding Hand of The Lord God. Yet, there will always be token Blacks that still believe that they have to VALIDATED by The White Man. You hear THE CODE that The Republican Party of today is The Party of Lincoln; which the most blatant LIE that could ever be told. President Johnson stated when he signed The Civil Right Bill and the Voting Rights Act into Law, he stated that he knew that his Democrat (Dixiecrat) colleagues would slither their way into The Republican Party. People try to use the fact of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. being a Republican; but intelligence will allow anyone that have to know that he would not be a member of a Party that always use these racist code (dogwhistle) words to raise the inspiration of their Base, as Gingrich did in Columbia, SC during the debate. That white lady (I believe that she was the divorced wife of the previous Governor of South Carolina)that said to Gingrich ... "thank you for putting Juan ?, IN HIS PLACE... his statements was LUDICROUS". Every African American/Black above 50 years of age, know exactly what PUT IN PLACE means. This young Pompano Beach, FL Black pastor that is an ally to Santorum, have said to ALL Blacks and his Black congregation that money have bought his Integrity/Values. These type of negros have been with us every since our first encounter with whites, and they will continue their behavior as there is no downside for doing so. Their number one objective is to appeal to whites and HOPE they will give them a few crumbs from the table. The sad thing is, after 400 years of dealing with whites, these Toms and aunt Thomastines should know better.

I accidently stumbled onto this site looking at another article of interest. I must admit that I've gotten side-tracked on political issues knowing full well how futile it is to argue certain points with brainwashed idiots, but engage them I did to my everlasting shame, lol. Talk about wasted time and mental energy, lol.
I've heard rumblings of Jeb Bush being drafted in desperation because the Republicans are so desperate. It's the last card in their deck, to be sure. I may be wrong, but I think it's too soon for the regular public (not desperate Republicans) to accept another Bush, no matter how benevolent Jeb may seem. If anyone had half a brain they'd know that the same strings that pulled his brother and darth vader (dad) would be pulling him too.
Now them meeting with China Officials and Obama is indeed interesting, but not surprising. Things are definitely going to come to a head between our two nations.
Now tell me what you think of my ideas of this election. It would seem that the powers that be want to ensure a win for Obama by placing the most unplatable candidates to run against him:
Santorum - Not remotely to be taken seriously. A wack job and opportunistic corporate h___ and shill for the Catholic leadership (i.e. Jesuits(sp) and Black Pope) Every time he opens up his uninformed mouth, he sticks his foot in it. Only desperate so-called, right-wing Christians are falling for his crappola. Eventhough they're not feeling Catholics (at least their Christians?) they can't bring themselves to vote for a Mormon.
Gingrich - Nothing to say, it's obvious on so many levels why he isn't an acceptable candidate.
Romney - Is America ready for a Mormon President? No. Same paranoia about Catholics running the nation is the same about Mormons. Yes, Kennedy won, but some palms were greased and massive voter fraud was committed to ensure his election.
Paul - Unelectable, not enough support and policies are archaic and in some instances, uninforceable. Presidents do not have the power in the constitution to do the things he says he will do.
So, what's left? Obama, of course.
What should frighten us is the "why?" What's coming down the pike that bodes ill for us? This is what we should be concerned with. I will admit that bias (not racial per see) but racial pride in the first black or bi-racial president (not actually true, but I'll leave that alone for now) was elected president and of course, that clouds one's thinking and critical observations are given a back seat. Considering all the things that I am aware of, when I slip, I could kick myself in the backside, lol. It's very easy to slip back into the sheeple mind-set and forget about surveying the "big picture"
One thing missing from my required reading is "The Prince" I didn't download it and I should have, lol. I forgot all about it.
Anyway, your thoughts, or thoughts of others?
R we being set up emotionally ,what would be the only way to defeat him, and would that event cause martial law in this time anything is possible

You've Driven Home Your Point RE: the 'Zionist' [= Jewish] Left-

My biggest issue is that you still haven't said anything about Al-Jazeera's duplicity in in the Libyan assault [now an attempted replay in Syria] nor the Arab League's [AL] duplicity - especially the GCC part of the AL dominated by the House of Saud, the Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, & Bahrain - in Libya & now Syria [also Jordan especially RE: Syria]- Thus the GCC sold out their supposed Arab Bro Khadaffi & now they w Jordan are selling their supposed Arab Bro Assad- to-US NATO's machinations in the region [IE: they threw their Arab 'Bro' Khadaffi to the -US NATO 'Dogs of War' & now are doing it again to their Arab 'Bro' Assad]. And thats not counting supposed 'Islamic' Turkey's role in both Libya but especially now in Syria.
To call out Amy G / DN!, WSM, etc on their role in hyping -US NATO's assault on Libya is fine by me - BUT to never even mention Al-Jazeera's & the GCC part of the AL's role - looks like you may have some other agenda. IMO Al-Jazeera's & the GCC's selling out of their fellow AL 'Bros' Khadaffi & now Assad [FYI: Syria is a founding member of the AL] is an EVEN BIGGER Act of Treachery than what Amy G & DN! did!

Corporate Terrorism

Excellent article, Ms. Kimberley.
Shortly after Spain's socialist president, Jose Luis Zapatero, promised that the country's economic crisis would not force cuts in social spending, he received two phone calls. One was from Germany's Angela Merkel; the other was from the United States' president, Barack Obama.
Zapatero had to retract his promise.
Carl Safina muses in this month's edition of Adbusters:
"Corporate globalization has been called “the most fundamental redesign of social, economic, and political arrangements since the Industrial Revolution.” Corporations have swept real economic and political power away from governments. Of the hundred wealthiest countries and corporations listed together, more than half are corporations. ExxonMobil is richer than 180 countries – and there are only about 195 countries."
As Enlightened Cynic once concluded, "We're all f____."

Precisely, it's all about the mind. If you believe you are inferior you will be inferior. The only way to combat this mindset is to teach our young that "this world is in opposition to our advancement, they will call you dumb, they will say your ugly, but you are not, you are more than capable of creating whatever future you see fit". These types of black people that feel that they must depend on white people are the kind that will lead us to failure everytime.
We really need some responsible black people in the media field to represent our race as monetarily responsible, truth is the media has a HUGE influence on how we make choices in our life, no matter how much some will deny it gets in your head regardless. The kids are most definitely indoctrinated.

Which is why individuality changes nothing, atleast MOST of us need to uplift this race, because although we should not care what others think of us respect demands POWER, if these races threatened to destroy all black people tommorow with nuclear weapons we wouldn't be able to do a damn thing and that is a REAL SERIOUS PROBLEM, we have no way of protecting ourselves because we are not unified as a people and pose no threat.
Some of us are too simple minded and naive and whole heartedly trust that if there was a race war we would be protected by whites, SMH.
The funny thing is that when these "we are the world" and "we should all just get along" type of black people get set upon by whites or the white media they then always turn to blacks for help or they then try to adopt black nationalist views, example,

W.E.B Dubois ended his life living in Africa after opposing Marcus Garvey's "Back to Africa" philosophy, Michael Jackson tried to be white for a long while singing "we are the world" then when the media set upon him, calling him a "child molester" he decides to surround himself with the nation of Islam for protection, even fools like OJ Simpson began studying Islam, Mike Tyson and a whole host of black celebs who were set upon by the media or even thrown in jail then they decide to finally align themselves with black nationalists.

Blacks only see the need for nationalism or doing for self once they have individually been attacked or put in their place by whites and their media, we have to learn to value unity even before whites attack us or one day it will be far too late for us to react and formulate a defence! We have to remember we are living in their countries and they can do whatever they choose to do at any time!

This is why we must change the way we think! Black people are highly intelligent and we must stress the importance of an early education for our children so that they can be at their full potential. We shouldn't wait on teaching our kids to give them up to the government indoctrination facility, woops! I mean schools to teach them a limited educational standard. We should teach them all we can at a young age, most of these prodigies have been home schooled or atleast home taught before school. All of the stereotypes about blacks clearly don't hold water.
We are truly mightier than we allow ourselves to believe, it is now time to start breaking down these mental barriers.
Most of the stereotypes of blacks were created during slavery and now are entrenched into all cultures around the world, individual success has had very little effect in changing these stereotypes, example, yes we may have a mix-raced president but all stereotypes of blacks still stand throughout the world, he can change nothing!

We have to actively seek to encourage our talented youngsters to be entrepreneurs, inventors, businessmen and even leaders so that they will grow up with self belief and not always wishing to hide within the white crowd and live off white achievements, all other races are working to stand out from the crowd and be respected for their accomplishments while we are obsessed with integrating into society, but yet we are still constantly fingered out as dead weight!

I think the way it works is that others as a group are racist towards us, they take all the negative stereotypes of us as fact and will discriminate against us as a whole. However, we will find a some of them here and there that will not believe the stereotypes and treat us as individuals, but I think these are the minorities of each race. We have to be careful because some of those who even seem to be with us are actually still weary of us also and will side with their own if a black man somewhere upsets them.
Personally I think we should treat them the same way they treat us which is with complete suspicion, I hate the fact that it always seems to be black people that have too prove themselves worthy of others trust while when they come to us we accept them with open arms automatically as if we are desperate for allies!
Look how many of these people open shops in our community, but how welcoming are they to blacks that want to run shops in China town, the Arab or Jewish communities, I have been told that if a black man wanted to run a shop that is located in between two chinese, Indian or Pakistani shops, they would rather put their money together and buy the shop, even if it is empty for years to come. We as blacks may have to get tough and run these people out of our communities and boycott their shops or products, if those videos are anything to go by they hate blacks and are mocking us on their TV programs everyday of the week, so they shouldn't be getting any of our money either. The cheek of these little people is unbelievable.
I've read somewhere that the most dangerous racist is not the one that openly admits his racism like the idiot trolls on this forum, or the KKK, or Neo-Nazis, but the racists that do not admit or don't believe they are racists.

They're usually the ones that say "I'm not racist, I have a black friend" or "I'm not racist I work with black people". Yet, their actions and words show how much they truly hate us.

They are our police officers, the business owners that will hire a white man with a criminal record and not call back the black man with near perfect credentials.

Marcus Garvey said the same thing:

"I regard the Klan, the Anglo-Saxon clubs and White American societies, as far as the Negro is concerned, as better friends of the race than all other groups of hypocritical whites put together."

Malcolm X argued: "The American black man should be focusing his every effort toward building his own businesses, and decent homes for himself. As other ethnic groups have done, let the black people, wherever possible, patronize their own kind, and start in those ways to build up the black race's ability to do for itself. That's the only way the American black man is ever going to get respect. One thing the white man never can give the black man is self-respect! The black man never can be become independent and recognized as a human being who is truly equal with other human beings until he has what they have, and until he is doing for himself what others are doing for themselves. The black man in the ghettoes, for instance, has to start self-correcting his own material, moral and spiritual defects and evils. The black man needs to start his own program to get rid of drunkenness, drug addiction, prostitution. The black man in America has to lift up his own sense of values."

This was 60-70 years ago, AND WE HAVEN'T DONE A THING!?!?!?!

THE SOLUTION HAS BEEN TOLD TIME AND TIME AGAIN AND BLACK PEOPLE STILL DON'T GET IT!!!!!

IT IS TIME TO TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR OUR RACES FUTURE NOW.

For example I think CNN aired a special where Steve Harvey and Sherry Sheperd and some other black celebs held this big conference on stage talking about successful black women and how their dating problems, and I'm like SERIOUSLY BLACK PEOPLE?!?! We have way bigger problems within our community than some relationship problems and worst part is its not like it will change their lives anyway, I call that a waste of production money but hey the celebs got paid and the other races laughed at how desperate we were. That should have been a black economics conference if anything, that's what we really need to be focusing on, it can do a lot for our unemployment and poverty to go to work for ourselves and hire people in our race...

Let's hope that the blacks in Philadelphia catch on to what he is doing for them and support him all the way, if that fails then we may as well forget it because they have been moaning about the lack of shops and black businesses there forever, but now they are being encouraged stop talking and to put their money where their mouth is.
Yes indeed, I see him as a very good canidate for a black male role model. Instead of getting butt hurt over non-black people using the N-word like Al and Jessie we need to start encouraging black business making and supporting, it is time to start producing and forming wealth. It would seem that the African Slaves knew a lot about "roots" or herbs and what they could do. Cause hallucination, sickness and death. Of course, the American slave owners and Europeans assumed (as the arrogrant ones always do) that the slaves were dumb savages. It didn't occur to them that these ancient people possessed ancient knowledge far superior to their so-called "enlightenment" knowledge (rediscovered knowledge, that is.)
So I came to the conclusion that what certain herbs could do was handed down orally by the slaves and was "secret" knowledge of the shamans or priest and is what is called voodoo.
I'd be interested in their "old" Gods. I know that the latin world seems more knowledgeable of these old gods, their names, traits, etc.(i.e. Santeria) This knowledge has been carried by the African slaves throughout the known world. The future doesn't look bright for Bobbi Kristina. She's traumatized, she has substance abuse problems and it looks like very little emotional support. She's been allowed to run rampant. Partying along side her mother and questionable friends. Once the horse has been let out of the barn, it's hard to put them back in. What I mean is she's been living an adult life but is still a child. No one is going to make her behave like a normal 18 year old. She's been exposed to too much. Furthermore, she's the sole suvivor to her mother's estate, meaning she'll be a target for those trying to gain access to her money. IDK what type of support her father will be able to give her with so many children that he already has and a young one just born. Maybe he's matured enough to be the father he needs to be. Only time will tell. The little one needs all the support and love she can get.
Things are strange regarding Whitney's last days. How do you go from having the expertise to buying the rights to a movie (she was supposedly broke) to producing, casting and acting in it, to its completion and be a stumbling, bumbling mess as they say she was in her last days? It doesn't make sense. It requires monumental energy, focus and discipline to pull all of that together. The drugs found in her room would hardly cause a overdose. One would have to take massive amounts of xanax (anti anxiety) not an antidepressant, ibupropene is a pain killer and midol for menstrual cramps. Not to mention that she had a good appetite. I mean she just ate a burger and fries and then took a turkey sandwich to eat also? Weirder still is that Bobbi Kristina also fell asleep in the tub and her friends had to get security to open the door to get her out of the tub. Why did mother and daughter have seperate rooms? If Whitney was wandering around the Hilton looking strange, where were Kristina and her handlers? Why was Whitney's wig wet? I don't understand any of this.
You're right, there's still alot of questions. Over the next few weeks hopefully we'll get some answers. And Bobbi can get some closure. I think she'll be okay if she stays away from these vultures in the music industry. It's ran by very sick individuals. They didn't give a d___ about Whitney. Not even Clive Davis. They used her to make money and when she wasn't the "hot" thing anymore--they discarded her like a piece of trash!

It sounds like a broken record, but it's true that there was a lot more cultural cohesiveness among black people back in the 1960's (with the Black Panthers, the Civil Rights Movement, the Black Power Movement, etc.). Today, the degeneracy that we see is what I don't deduce as a part of real black culture.

I believe that the sleazy music videos, the profanity, the wicked messages, etc. represent a corrupt Western cartel-capitalist culture. It's a culture that's exploitative and racist (as you see that this culture bashes both black men and especially black women). Now, the ghetto is just a location, not a state of mind. Some folks falsely equate ghetto with savage behavior exclusively when tons of people living in the ghetto presently have made a great living or have a great sense of personal character. There are folks in the rich communities and suburbs that act in an inappropriate fashion. Now, the problems in the ghetto exist. That's real and we can't deny that. They exist because of socio economic and cultural problems not because of the essence of black culture. We can see real black culture today in 2012 via underground music, real singers, art, business leaders, scholarships, lawyers, and a wide spectrum of black leaders in our community. The problem now is that the recession and cultural complications are harming our community. We have to fight against the degeneracy by being more active (creating programs, protesting, fulfilling our lives, helping our people, etc.) since no other ethnic group is going to solve our problems, but us. We are the only people in the final analysis that can alleivate our own circumstances.

Great fashion works are being created presently by black people like June Ambrose. This is a part of black culture too. Black people and fashion go hand and hand.

Black women hate nice Black men and love nice white men.
I agree with you on one point. There are a minority of black people (both males and females) that treat the so-called "nice" white man as a god, but treats the nice black person (whether the black person is either male or female) like dirt. I have seen it first hand in college, in the streets, and in other places. That is unjustified period. Yet, brother, this isn't representative of every single black woman. You can't generalize. I know sisters from my personal experiences that are very tolerant, treat a nice man with respect, and these sisters treated me with respect. So, not all sisters are monolithic in their behavior. Tons of black sisters are nice, strong, and tolerant. Disrespecting black women is like disrespecting your mother. I am not going to disrespect or scapegoat black women period. I am accountable for my own actions.

The answer to this issue is for the nice brothers (who want to be romantically involved with black sisters) to hang out with sisters that will treat you with respect. We have to be patience and talk too. A lot of nice brothers fail to have adequate social skills. So, in many cases the sister may be interested in the nice brother (but the nice brother doesn't act right in a socially mature fashion). Therefore, the nice brother shouldn't answer some quizes, but he should be active and foreward in communicating with sisters about his feelings or intentions honestly. As for a punk, no one respects a punk. A punk is not a nice guy period. At least a nice guy has respect. You know it and I know it. A rich punk is still a punk. Even Malcolm X called them chumps. Why should be as black men act as chumps. We have every right to be like warriors like our ancestors & express the full capacity of our masculinity. Why would I be a punk when the strongest blacks in history stood up like men and women to defend our honor.

So, you can be nice, but assertive.

Sister, as a black man with uncles, aunts, and brothers married to Asian and White women, and a white man, I can tell you that they have the same issues, baggage, and needs. Also, a have several homeboys that are white (we have dinner, hang out, pick each others' kids up from school and vacation together), and they also have the same complaints, baggage, needs, etc. It's not about accommodation, it's about compromise. Ultimately, when you decide to be with someone, you have to learn and understand their needs to make the relationship work. Hopefully, that's the goal of the marriage/relationship. In regard to sisters lowering themselves, that may be a self-worth/self-esteem issue depending upon how you qualify "lowering themselves". Having standards, reasonable standards is understood, and for most brothers, expected.
I would venture to say that most of us have it together, but the perception is that we don't. My circle has about 15 brothers in it. All of us have children, good credit, and are in stable relationships. Now, I understand your experience may be the latter; however, to generalize is to assume. Many of my friends didn't go to school, but they have a trade that they learned on-the-job, or from a family member. Is that not good enough? Lots of brothers are blue collar; school doesn't make you a "good dude" or relationship material. And moreover, from a cultural standpoint, while many are similiar, some of our needs will be different. Brothers appreciate a nice rear, for example, a fact most sisters benefit from, while men of other persuasions appreciate a thinner frame. So, some of our needs will be different. Bottomline, if you were a fly on the wall at my house on poker night and you could not see anyone, only hear conversation, you would realize that men (black, white, asian, etc.) are men. The majority of our needs are the same.

You know when I was in the dating game, I had the same problems. From the age of 19 - 24 I had tried my best to find a good Black man who was supportive. And I wasn't even that picky at all. Went to college and there were very few few Black men. The Black men taht were there were mostly African men. So, long story short, I finally had the guts to approach this one Black guy. It turned out that he was originally African. I was hesitant at first because of all the negative stereotypes associated with African men, but I can honestly say, it was the best decision I had made in my life! I have never met such a beautiful soul in a man. He is originally from Tanzania.

Educated, smart, handsome, family oriented, cultured, confident,.... oh... We dated for about two years and he proposed to me. We have been married for 1 year now and couldn't be happier.

I will give you this advice sistah. Do not limit yourself to Black American men. I really don't understand sistahs who jump the fence and go White when there are suitable Black men of out cultures available. These men love us too. Carribean, African, South American Black men are a good match. In our close circle of friends, there are 8 of us AA women who are married to African and South American Black men. It is like NIGHT AND DAY!!

And the best part is that not only do I have my Black king, but my children will now be able to learn a different language and Black culture.

Good luck to you.

The sell-outs should be identified and outcasted immediately, this is why I think blacks should boycott modern minstrel rappers like Wakaflocka and Gucci Mane. These two men for example do nothing but promote materialism and criminality while blacks are struggling economically and are being incarcerated in high numbers. The topics of their so-called "music" if you can call it that reeks of immorality and ideas that are completely adverse to progression. We need to understand that the mainstream "rap" coming out to day is not the voice of the people anymore but the voice of executives and producers pulling the strings on these rappers to keep recycling the same topics to keep up an illusion of irresponsibly unattainable fantasies.

It's self hatred & a slavery mentality among some blacks (not a majority of black people). The sellouts (among both genders) in the minority place huge requirements in finding a mate of blacks, while placing a less stringent requirement of dating non-blacks. It is a total disgrace. The sellouts think that non-blacks are socially and morally superior to their own people. That is why many of these traitors choose a weaker person that they can control. The blacks who sell out run game, but real blacks are on to their game. This is why a disproportionate amount of IR BM and IR BW go out or marry with the outcast non-blacks (except if that black person is rich or more successful from a socioeconomic standpoint).

Now, it's time to promote solutions for all people in the black community presently. Black men and black women unifying to create a radically better society for black people is a great instrument of change. If you still complain about black people from the opposite gender and you're in an IR already, you might have some insecurities. Also, if you hate the mirror image of yourself (in the opposite gender), do you hate yourself?

That's the question. In the meantime, we who live Black Power & Black Love will continue to live our lives (while the IR BW and IR BM will continue to live theirs). I respect Black Love and the vast majority of black people love Black Love too.

I blame white supremacy (or a certain percentage of white people) for many of the injurious, problemaic issues in the world from ecological disasters to racial oppression. That's my view and it's hardly extremely intolerant in my estimation. There is nothing wrong with advocating black people to grow their families and growing their culture. Perserving my black identity isn't equivalent to racist eugenicists harming my people decades ago. That isn't racist nor evil. Other ethnicities advocated this policy of cultural development and they are right on that point. Self determination in building Black Power and growing businesses again is legitimate and isn't about showing malice to all whites. It is about defining our own cultural identity, permitting more confidence in black people, and growing the essense of Black Power. Now, white supremacists advocate inferiority of my people, extermination of my people, and other erreneous ideologies. I don't believe that whites are inferior to me per se, but I do believe that black people are the original people on the face of the Earth deserving of justice, harmony, and peace.

Great post Baps! One of your best. I agree with you. It's hard to ad anything else to that. You pretty much said it all. I think that the US and China have called a temporary truce for the time being. They both want the gold, diamonds, coltan and oil that Africa has. No nation can become a superpower without going through Africa first. I think the US and China may go to war in a few years. It's scary to think about but it could very well become a reality. America is basically run by the Vatican and Israel. America,Britian,France and Isreal all make up the European Union. And they want total control over the world's food and all resources that maintain life. That way you and I will be their slaves. If they control and own everything--what choice will we have? We'll be at their mercy. And I'm also watching what's going on with Iran. They may keep pushing Iran to the point of them "attacking" us. Sort of like the "terrorist" attack on 9-11.
You're alos right about Gadhafi. The media make him out to be the worse man in history. Gadhafi was no saint,he wasn't perfect. But if you compare him to the criminals of other nations--he doesn't look that bad in retrospect. He did want Africa to have their own banking system but that would have crippled the Euro. Thereofre he had to die! What we saw was a public execution, plain and simple. They wanted to send a message. America wants Africa dependent on them and other nations. They want African children to strave and die of disease. Bill Gates,Oprah,Ted Turner,Rockefellers,Warren Buffett and the Rothchilds could end world hunger tomorrow if they wanted. But they want them to die so they can move to Africa themselves. Africa is prime real estate right now.
When you get a chane go to Youtube and type in AfriSynergy. The host is a brother named T. West. I go to gis channel all the time. He tells the truth about what Obama,China,France and Israel are really doing. The stuff that NBC,CNN,MSNBC,FOX and CBS will never cover.

It's just a matter of us showing some support and encouraging each other when we are trying.

There was a black man on youtube who tried to get some signatures from black people for a petition to help a Haitian dude who was being mistreated by the government, the brother then made another video complaining that he had 15,000 hits and only 400 signatures.

This shows that the black community is very passive and will allow anyone to walk all over us, there is only going to be a very small minority of blacks that will form a united front which will become the power and backbone of the race while the others will be lost trying their utmost to be accepted by white society while that same society continues to treat them like the underdogs.

Like Dr Claud said, blacks have to start fighting for their own rights rather than trying fighting under the banner of multiculturalism because the Jews, Chinese, Arabs, Whites and Indians are not fighting for our cause, they fight for themselves, but blacks have Civil rights which fights for everyone, lol...
I was surprised to learn that affirmative action has benefited white women more than black people, plus Hispanic and Mexican immigrants to America are benefiting from affirmative action much more than black Americans as they are building thriving communities and hispanics are now outnumbering Blacks Americans by almost 7,000,000 people!

We need black organisations that can reach a large black crowd and link positive blacks together, even if we have 1,000,000 positive proactive black men and women world-wide we can move mountains and influence others....
But we cannot use these forums to do this because certain whites must not know our plans!

I did watch those videos you posted of Dr Claud Anderson and hope that people like Freddie8 were watching also.
One of the most profound statements he made amongst others was that "black people do not actually have any communities", this is true.
He compared our so-called communities to China towns, Greek towns, Japan towns, Mexican towns, plus Arab and Jew communities. He then stated that they all have places like shops and factories where they employ each other within those communities which helps keep the money circulating within their area while black areas are usually void of these things and filled with poverty and crime.
The best we will get is other people owning shops in our streets which means that any money we earn goes to enrich them and their areas, not ours. The money circulates every other community over ten times, and within Jew areas the money circulates about 18 times before leaving whereas in the black areas the money doesn't go around once!!!
Also, I was shocked to learn that Detroit had a deficit of $300,000,000 when they have a combined income of $22,000,000,000!!! The money is just leaving the community very fast which is why Detroit is the crime capital of the states.
Not long after slavery during the late 1800's, blacks owned 1% of the wealth of America. In 2012 Blacks still own 1% of the wealth in America.... We have income and no wealth (inheritable assets) to pass on to our children, thus the poverty cycle of every generation!
Need I say more?

If they didn't fear us they wouldn't be on this forum trying their best with the most vulgar of language trying to convince us we are inferior to them, but they know they aren't shit, which is why they come here. Unlike many other blacks I understand that many of the racists were raised and indictrinated to believe that they are somehow special or important because they have less melanin in their skin. I've also noticed that when it comes to history they only want to see what's infront of them instead of looking at the origins of the condition of our current history. They will even try and say that black people begged to be enslaved by whites without mentioning that because of their weak immune systems they couldn't even walk into Africa because they would die of malaria and had to rely on West African enemies to capture prisoners of war, and forget that even with guns they struggled to defeat strong African civilizations like the Zulu. They are liars and would completely morph history into a fantasy of white superiority, but it is completely shot down by other culture's accomplishments and their failures. This is why they must down play our contributions ignoring that Africans created the foundations of civilization and that the profit of African slave labor ushered in the industrial revolution that changed America forever. And when the so called "inferior negroe" began to create his own monetary system and successful cities, whites destroyed them because they had fear of blacks taking revenge on them because they knew the crimes they had committed, which is also why they created black codes and Jim Crow laws. The racists on this site are here because they have self-esteem issues and because they believe in the idotic notion of their false superiority and also believe that black people give a damn about the ignorant rants they spew. If they were superior they wouldn't even be socializing with "inferiors", yet thats all they seem to want to spend time with day after day. They know they are pathetic and are wasting their time arguing with anonymous people and find no rewards but the false sense of accomplishment of talking back to blacks on the internet because they know damn well they wouldn't say 5% of it to any real black person. Black people do not acknowledge whites as anything but our equals if that, and whites do not like it, they feel as if we should be worshipping them, but there is none or ever will be a reason to think of them as otherwise. So they sit around and formulate the best insults they can muster about us and our ancestors because they actually think their opinion matters, which it never will. I personally like it when they devote all their time on us, proves who's the real master of anothers free time, we control their actions on the internet, the fact that they are on a black themed website contradicts every hateful word they type. Elmina Castle

I began to understand Europeans' wickedness during a tour of Elmina Castle, about a half-hour's drive west of Cape Coast.

Erected by the Portuguese in 1482, Elmina was later occupied by the Dutch. The tour began in front of a cell marked with a black-and-white plaster skull above the entrance.

"This became the death cell, the cell of no return," the guide said, home to unruly slaves. "That's why the Dutch put the skull and crossbones over it."

As our guide led the group up to the Dutch governor's quarters, he explained that the lofty, wooden hall, full of wide windows and fresh sea air, was built above the dungeons.

The governor would send for slave women from below to rape as young as 6

excerpted from: Gloria J. Browne-Marshall, Failing Our Black Children: Statutory Rape Laws, Moral Reform and the Hypocrisy of Denial (2002) (Footnotes Omitted)

"Powerless against a lustful husband and blind to the harsh realities of chattel slavery, the enraged wife often vented her jealous rage upon the one person whom she could control, the black woman." English law governed the "American" English colonists. The Virginia Colony was an English franchise. The English colonies adopted most of the components of English Law which included statutory rape provisions. The colonists were also governed by a militaristic code of "Lawes, Divine, Morall and Martiall, based on the Bible. These moralistic laws did not prevent the exploitation of female servants by male masters. Male and female Africans were brought by ship to Jamestown, Virginia, in 1619. These Africans were not considered slaves. Prior to the arrival of Africans, most distinctions between peoples were based on class and intra-European ethnic divisions. White immigrants were brought to the colonies to meet the inordinate need for labor. Although the Africans in the colonies were not slaves they did not have legal protections equal to that of the White non-servant colonists from Europe. As the benefits of slavery increased the profits of the European colonists, legal protections for Blacks within the colony became the exception to the rule. Indians were also enslaved in several of the colonies.

Colonial laws regarding statutory rape were not applied to Blacks and Indians. Indians and Blacks, as well as their children, were prohibited by law from defending themselves against abuse, sexual and otherwise, at the hands of Whites. A slave who defended herself against the attack of a White person was subject to cruel beatings by either the master or mistress. Liaisons between Whites and Blacks or Indians were illegal. The females of color received the harshest punishment if discovered in a liaison with a White male. Females of color, regardless of their young age, were viewed as seducers of White men. Pregnancy became the evidence of the illegal liaison. A mulatto baby the indicator of the race of the father - White male. The child, by statute took the status of the mother and is thus born into slavery. The full benefit of the relationship and the off-spring enured to the White male. Under English precedent, the status of children was determined by the father. The colonists changed the law to increase the wealth and domination of the White master who had eliminated certain costs of purchasing human labor by becoming "a breeder of slaves." The Black female, woman or child, was forced into sexual relationships for the White slave master’s pleasure and profit.

Read the book on Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome . This is why dear brother.

Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome (P.T.S.S.) is a condition that exists as a consequence of multigenerational oppression of Africans and their descendants resulting from centuries of chattel slavery. A form of slavery which was predicated on the belief that African Americans were inherently/genetically inferior to whites. This was then followed by institutionalized racism which continues to perpetuate injury.

Thus, resulting in M.A.P.:

M: Multigenerational trauma together with continued oppression;
A: Absence of opportunity to heal or access the benefits available in the society; leads to

Under such circumstances these are some of the predictable patterns of behavior that tend to occur:

I will get the book, sounds like a good read.

Another good piece is BRAINWASHED [Challenging the Myth of Black Inferiority] by Tom Burrell

YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO PUT THIS ONE DOWN!!! He writes about how Blacks suffer from BI (Black Inferiority) and how after 150 years since the Emancipation Proclamation and negroids still think they are slaves and ACT LIKE SLAVES.

He states that our SELF-DEFEATING ATTITUDES AND BEHAVIOR has Black people messed up. He also says that racism is not the issue, how we respond to media distortions and programmed self-hatred is the issue.

Here's a question out of the book: Why, despite our apparent strength, intelligence, and resourcefulness, do we continue to lag behind and languish in so many aspects of american life?

ANSWER: The answer is intricately linked to the hundreds of years Blacks have lived with white guilt and Black shame. It lurks just beneath the surface of the american consciousness, like a cancer that can't be healed because it can't be discussed honeslty and openly.

Yes indeed . I read his book . You will love Dr. Joy. I think she is deeper than Tom Burrell .Both speak of the same issue .

they are both, but here in america they are treated as only one- no matter what they call themselves.
Well regardless of how they are classified in America when they leave the States and enter the big wide modern world they become Bi-racial... How comes, did their skin colour change on the airplane?... No, America, has it "COMPLETELY" wrong. However, the survey done in America shows that white people there are now slowly accepting and acknowledging the difference.

I want my black brothers and sisters living in the states to realise this fact very soon, because when the Bi-racials catch onto this, they will probably start to use the term "Bi-racial" instead of "Black" to identify themselves.

My brother. I hear under what you are saying. But where I disagree is who we drop the hammer on. In my opinion, SEAHAG, WHOWANTSTOKNOW, and COACCO are not the enemy. In my view, they are very strong allies. They seem to be able to see things for what they really are. There are MANY lost sisters and brothers on here. But I just don't think these ladies deserve the treatment that is being dished out to them.

I know you gotta be the HAMMER, and I respect that. But you and I are BOTH belivers in the original scriptures and scrolls. So I must respectfully challenge you with this question. What good is it to know the truth, except the truth, but not live by that which you have studied and accepted? Itis not enough to just teach it my brother. WE GOTTA LIVE IT AND WALK IT. We already have plenty of negro fake preachers on tv teaching one thing but living something else.

If you disagree with our sisters then just disagree. And they can either take it or leave it alone. But if our GOAL is to educate and share information, then we need to do so in the manor that is in our nature. I AM STILL YOUR BROTHER. But we have to protect, love, and RESPECT our black women. EVEN THE ONES THAT WE DO NOT AGREE WITH.

women are attracted to bad boys because they offer excitement, and their confidence is usually unmatched. however, only foolish women remain around bad boys long enough to get burned. bad boys should never be taken seriously, and i think that's what many women fail to realize.

good men, don't fret! it may look like the bad boys are pulling all the women now, but a good woman will recognize you in the end. however, i will offer a tip for good men: be confident! i can't count the number of times i've encountered a recognizably good man who blew his chances by not believing in himself, even when the green light was given. all they had to do was be a man and take the lead...

bottom line: you don't have to be running the streets, disrespecting women and what-not to get a woman's attention...just be self-assured and everything else will fall into place.

I don't know maybe college life puts a different perspective on it, because most girls I know would only date an educated men. Well I personally love me an educated black man because they always posses something more than just book smarts. They posses something envied by other races because they defy the stereotypes that society has placed on them. When you see an educated brother you know he worked twice as hard and didn't give up or get distracted and didn't fall for the traps the devil set for him. Honestly to me there's nothing more attractive than an educated black guys
Real educated black men appreciate those comments. We brothers like educated sisters too since they refute the stereotypes. Also, the educated sisters (and sisters of numerous socioeconomic backgrounds) are still strong and apt to desire harmony and justice. A real man will always like a woman with a strong intellect and stimulating communication. The sister bashers have the same M.O. Brothers and Sisters have refuted these sellouts for years. The common demoniation in my opinion about all of them (or the women haters) is that these women-haters have low self esteem issues (Some of them lack social skills or they overexaggerate their life experiences as an excuse to scapegoat their own people in a sick fashion). The solution is to promote Black Unity among both genders and ignore these haters.

You both sound like White supremacists, albeit from a Black perspective .
That's very interesting. Unlike white supremacists, we don't advocate the extremination of innocent people, we don't advocate the lynching of people, we don't advocate the destruction of the black Tulsa community during the early 20th century, and we don't advocate massive eugenics. All of these nefarious, demented deeds have been done by white supremacists throughout human history.

Therefore, we who are black people love our people so much that we don't wish to dilute our strong cultural heritage in order to be bounded under colorblindness or mutually assured cultural destruction. A person promoting Black Power and a black cultural revolution to defeat moral degeneracy is not racism. It's just plain common sense. Africans in America and throughout the Earth aren't bowing to the status quo. The Asians, the Indians, the white ethnic groups, the Hispanics, etc. promoted this for years and there was no outcry of racism to those human beings. Yet, when we blacks promote our God-given right of self determination, we are called racists when we're not. We should just handle our business irrespective of the exceptations of white society.

She can't handle the truth. Black women hate nice Black men. But love nice Non-BM. Especially White guys. Then they complain that White guys treat them better. It's BS.
Nice guys treat women nice. Bad guys treat women like booty calls. Black women LOVE Bad Black guys. It what turns them on.
That is the real truth. She is just in denial.
I disagree. Only a minority of black women want a thug or a bad boy (as opposed to real black men). The vast majority of black women just want a real strong black man. Unfortunately in our day and age, the word nice has been damned as being equated to a punk. Yet, the truth is being nice has nothing to do with being a punk or weak. You can be nice and strong socially at the same time. It's just the media and the establishment harbors an anti-intellectual, anti-social behavior ethos within Western society. Some blacks fall for the trap and act more nihilistic. While, other blacks see the handwriting on the wall and desire real revolutionary changes in the black community. Only the sellout Negroes (a minority) will love so-called nice white people and hate nice black people (of both genders). These Negroes are sick. So, BLACK WOMEN LOVE NICE BLACK MEN. IT'S JUST THAT BLACK WOMEN DON'T DESIRE SOME PUNK. SO WE WHO ARE BLACK MEN CAN'T ACT LIKE A PUNK. There is nothing wrong with being nice & being a nice black man, but we can't be passive toward oppression or evil.
