18 hours agoI am not surprised that Mr. Harvey is interviewing Obama because I have said it over and over: In 2010 during the Mid Term Election,Obama's people invited Radio Hosts/Black Blog sites to the White House to talk voting strategy to get Blacks to vote for him in 2012 and they were paid a total of 3 million dollars to do so.

Last time I knew, a million dollars is about 50% taxable not including the pumped up deductions that the label will be saving for their "out of pocket" expenses bill on your behalf. The other women you mentioned gave him opposition so it's been said. If you're working with a master you MUST let him drive the car, his ego demands such. Women have to learn very early in getting what we want out of men, we must appease their egos. This is especially true of men with vast power such as a Clive. Not only that, Whitney had pop appeal. Not every wonderful singer is comfortable with that or wants to do what it takes to be that pop star. As much as I love Stone, Bofill, and Hyman, their styles are not ones that everybody is going to love. That's what made Whitney so successful, she could out sing everybody but at the same time, you can be into jazz, R&B, whatever and still love her voice.

Not everyone has to like Viola's hair but it was obvious Wendy disliked the texture of her hair rather than the hair style, if that makes sense. Her comments seemed hateful, almost as if she was disgusted that Viola chose to go natural. Wendy has major issues anyways.
I think it is really interesting that Mary Alice, the WHITE woman was able to appreciate the beauty of Viola's natural hair. Going natural can be difficult and I applaud Viola for taking that step and showing up at the Oscars like., "this is who I am." I love it!

Business is all about competition; competition will always be there, it means that there is a demand for that particular product, we have to learn to exploit this fact. We don't have to be rich to start a business, many people start businesses with no money, they got off of their asses and raised the capital one way or the other.
Every other race of people on earth have a "go get mind-set" we on the other hand have a "can't do" mentality. I have often told a true story of 20 Rastafarian men during the 1980's who put their money together and purchased 3 houses in a row, fixed them up and used them as a community base, they ran many operations like, training, workshops, shows, organised community activities, rehabilitation, selling organic foods, working as tradesmen for hire (carpenters, plumbers, plasterers etc...) They made a lot of money and later opened various shops with the proceeds, even other races in the community used to come to us for help, lol.... My father was one of the main organisers within this group, so I can testify to what black unity can do... Individual success for blacks is limited unified success is limitless.
We used to see houses with up to 15 Asians living in each while driving crappy Nissan sunny's or battered Datsun's, but slowly these Asians started buying houses one by one and moving out, now they are laughing at us! They were saving their money that is how they raised their deposits...
I think we need to stop thinking in a self defeatist manner, we keep ourselves firmly at the bottom of the pile with our "can't do-everything is too hard" mentality, this is not how men and women think, this is how children think... You see white people like the idea of being superior and looking at others as inferior because it makes them feel a sense of purpose but the problem is they are not superior, and this makes them angry, and black people, this is why they hate you, because they want to be superior but we don't acknowledge them as such because they aren't and they feel it is a challenge. This is why they come to African American Forums, they feel that black people should be kissing them on the feet and worshipping them but there never was and never will be a reason for white people to even be thought of as anything but our equals.
To keep this idea of white superiority they have presented themselves positively in the media while at the same time disparaging others. Just think of all the racist jokes you can make of non-black people and now think of racist white jokes...I'm sure you can't think of many, guess who created the bulk of the jokes? White people. White people do not care to learn other cultures which is why they still say black people live in mud huts, they believe that anything that is white is right and anything that is colored is dullard. Not to say that being proud of being white is a bad thing but its good to respect other people's cultures, the reason racism exists is because no one looks at anything with detail, we use stereotypes to define people for us, and it is just plain inacurate. If everyone learned eachothers history we'd be much better off and ignorance would be expressed at a lesser degree.

Not everyone has to like Viola's hair but it was obvious Wendy disliked the texture of her hair rather than the hair style, if that makes sense. Her comments seemed hateful, almost as if she was disgusted that Viola chose to go natural. Wendy has major issues anyways.

Business is all about competition; competition will always be there, it means that there is a demand for that particular product, we have to learn to exploit this fact. We think like cowardly losers that are afraid to take risks, that is why we lose all the time. We don't have to be rich to start a business, many people start businesses with no money, they got off of their asses and raised the capital one way or the other.
Every other race of people on earth have a "go get mind-set" we on the other hand have a "can't do" mentality. I have often told a true story of 20 Rastafarian men during the 1980's who put their money together and purchased 3 houses in a row, fixed them up and used them as a community base, they ran many operations like, training, workshops, shows, organised community activities, rehabilitation, selling organic foods, working as tradesmen for hire (carpenters, plumbers, plasterers etc...) They made a lot of money and later opened various shops with the proceeds, even other races in the community used to come to us for help, lol.... My father was one of the main organisers within this group, so I can testify to what black unity can do... Individual success for blacks is limited unified success is limitless.
We used to see houses with up to 15 Asians living in each while driving crappy Nissan sunny's or battered Datsun's, but slowly these Asians started buying houses one by one and moving out, now they are laughing at us! They were saving their money that is how they raised their deposits...
I think we need to stop thinking in a self defeatist manner, we keep ourselves firmly at the bottom of the pile with our "can't do-everything is too hard" mentality, this is not how men and women think, this is how children think...
