You might find the elimination of racism a much tougher job than you now think if you were president of the USA. You're are right about the responsibilities of the government during the Katrina disaster. Government authorities simply dropped the ball. Actually, the standard of living in America is lower than in a some European countries which are not nearly as wealthy as the USA.And where do u think they would have gone to? It was the govt's duty to set aside some designated area (safe zones) where they would have sought shelter before the storm hit. And u still refuse to admit that certain people are treated well than others. That's the downside of capitalism. I can't believe that America has poor people and homeless folks in a country tagged as the leading economy in the world. I know that any country has a wide gap betwn the wealthy and the poor but this is sad. This is TRUE. The climate was much different across the earth. There was a major extinction of animals across the earth. Most likely due to climate change. Human lifestyle gradually changed, probably due to climate. Many scientists say the Sahara was wet. Could have been some lost civilization across the Sahara that was destroyed. On the subject of rap being the problem, I would say it is only a part of the problem because most of the consumers of rap are actually non white and it doesn't seem to turn them into gangsters!
Also, Gangster rap was pushed by record labels that were owned by Jews who started the first Gangster rappers such as Ice-T, and also NWA.
In fact if I remember correctly, Easy E was protected from being battered or killed by Suge knight aka "big Suge" by the Jewish Defence League, something to do with Dr Dre leaving NWA and moving to Death Row records.
The music was actually just originally formed to tell people what was happening on the streets in some neighbourhoods and what they had to do in order to survive, it was just "keeping it real" as they say.
Greedy record labels turned it into a money-making glorified form of music and encouraged it to grow turning it into the main form of rap at one point.

I personally think it isn't just the music but also the environment the children live in... If their environment matches the rap music the children will therefore most likely interpret the music as real life and take those gangster rappers as their leaders or role models, but if the music doesn't reflect their environment, the music is viewed as nothing more than fantasy... Black people need to stop raising children in the hood as it destroys them, move away as soon as possible!... If you stay there your children will most likely be educated by the environment.

Interesting, are you aware that black children are more advanced than white children up until the age of about 7 years old, after that many black children fall off and lose interest in school. We are sending our kids to schools to be taught by white teachers who many are racist or do not know how to control a class full of black children, black children are livelier and more energetic than other kids (fact) and they can easily intimidate and bully white teachers, so how can we expect them to do well at these schools?
I went to schools located in both lower/higher income areas. In the lower income areas, the teachers feared the students. The students in turn showed their fearlessness toward authority...the teachers were mostly white and very "weak willed", I had teachers scold me because I was quiet.
For example, I would never forget this math teacher that I had in middle school. He was such a...well...it begins with "p". This dude had the audacity to tell the class that he "gave up on us", walked outside the class room door, looked up to the ceiling and this fool started CRYING! RIGHT THERE! WTF?! There was one quiz that I failed and didn't do so well on so a kid that kept asking me for help and interrupting ME...he looked at me and says "C'mon [kissypop] you've got an F on your quiz..." blah blah, in front of the class. "So why are you talking during class"...telling ME that I should be listening.

Anyways, my point is that these kids need the people to lead them in the right path.
We have to take our children's education in our own hands and not leave it to the system, the system is useless when it comes to our children and we must either demand immediate change, or do it ourselves.
The two smartest children in Britain are black and it was the parents who took the children's education very seriously by giving them an educational environment and now these kids are geniuses, at 9 yrs old they both annihilated the University of Cambridge's advanced mathematics exam.

Careful analysis of a historians integrity is needed to determine the validity of his work, he may be biased. Also there are many things concerning history that cannot be explained but need to be, e.g. the unfinished obelisks in Egypt, how on earth did these people move these granite rocks that were hundreds of tons in weight over distances of 400Km and so on.

This Italian lady I would never forget, told us that most of the black men (in are class) would likely end up in jail. My school was not THAT crazy, my jaw hit the floor. I was so done with white teachers after that...then there are the "rebellious" white teachers; this teacher at my highschool was fired within his first year. Man, so many students loved him.
I thought he was alright...to me white is white. I wrote him a poem straight off the top of my head for class, this fool had the audacity to ask me if I got it offline. I told my parents and they said it was most than likely a compliment, becaus teachers can easily check for plagiarism.

It is true, I myself have seen teachers get smacked by pupils and run out the class crying, or even get shouted by the class, these were grown ass white men who were easily overpowered by highly strung students and not only black students... teachers telling black students that they will amount to nothing is extremely common, how do we expect these teachers to then teach these kids anything?

They call black people dumb because of average IQ test scores concerning blacks are lower than others, so low IQ'ed whites interpret that as meaning "all blacks are dumb" which is like saying whites on average earn more than blacks so therefore all whites earn more money than blacks!
What they didn't tell us is that on average blacks grew up in poor neighbourhoods and chaotic environments, plus they have also realised that poor whites also have lower average IQ,s (hillbillies, trailer park or white ghetto type people), not only that, the chinese who live in families that are even more stable than whites have even higher IQ scores on average than whites, so the link between raising children in poor environments and low IQ scores have long since been established, however racists will use IQ tests to get at blacks as long as they can get away with it.

mud. Some people will disagree with you simply. Now, it's a fact that both
parties aren't perfect. Both parties made mistakes. Now, most of our people
disagree with you on the concept of government and dependency. The role of government
is to protect the general welfare of people. The role of government is not to
end the social contract by refusing to use public aid to care for the poor. It
is not to promote unjust wars. It is not to refuse to give health care to those
that need it. It is individual and collective power of human beings that can
build up society, not just by the individual alone. People suffering and
getting legitimate assistance has nothing to do with permanent dependency. It
has to do with compassion. Sometimes, a social safety net is necessary for
certain people. This doesn’t discount the power of the human individual. It can
enhance it and inspire people to do better. To assume that blacks follow
Democrats mostly, because black people are some brainwashed, intellectually
deficient human beings is a load of bigoted condescension & intimidation.
The Republicans passed numerous laws and policies that are anti-immigrant, anti-civil liberties, and pro-war, not pro-peace. This doesn’t have to do with Democrats alone since both parties are involved in corruption. Welfare for people that need it is not a sin. Social Security and Medicare are not entitlements because human beings worked and shed blood sometimes for them to earn benefits from these programs by work (not for free). Abortion is an important issue, but abortion can be decreased by economic justice, public assistance to mothers, and building up communities (not by the private sector alone). The free market is not God. Also, humans can individuals help themselves to be stronger. On the other hand, not a human alive have succeeded alone. All humans received help either from individuals or from public resources.
Therefore, we are brothers’ keepers since this communal spirit is part of the black cultural ethos. Also, a black person voting for the Dems is not equated to brutal slavery at all. Education can be improved by unique solutions like smaller sizes (which Romney opposes), qualified teachers, increasing investments, etc. The GOP today is responsible for anti-voter laws, for wanting cuts to necessary Pell Grants, for the Patriot Act, for tax cuts for the super rich, for laissez faire economics, for scapegoating the poor, and for counterrevolutionary policies period. People have the right to be a Democrat or not.

When a republican brings up JFK and taxes they usually say Kennedy was a conservative because he wanted to reduce taxes on the highest incomes. That is easy to counter. Simply say – “Well sure, let’s bring taxes to where Kennedy wanted them to be: 65% on the top incomes and 47% on corporations.” Challenge them to look it up for themselves. They’ll keep using their talking point, but not around you, because you can just call them out on it anytime.

I understand what OP is saying in regards to school though. I've found that in a lot of professional and educational settings, some Black people feel the need to compete with each other. They are scared to befriend other black people and have this mentality that "only one of us can do well".
Don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with having friends of different races. Just because you share the same race doesn't mean you are compatible as friends. I'm just saying some people intentionally avoid befriending people of the same race.

Um OP, you are right. That is how it is in the film industry. Black people are scared to work together because Hollywood is about relationships. If you are Black, you want White people to like you and if you are seen as an outsider in the film industry, then it is really difficult to make it. So having a lot of White friends and not coming across as "too Black" is apart of the Hollywood game. The Blacks of Hollywood will not work together too much.

at my last job, i got labeled as the angry black woman just for doing something as simple as sticking up for myself. never in my life have i been called angry. im really a shy, quiet gal, but thats what corporate america labels you if u dont just lay down and take their abuse.
