Obama's stimulus package was in response to the recession and the mess Bush left;
3) Raising the value of the Dollar is not our most pressing concern; stimulating the economy is...Most non-Friedman, Univ of Chicago-schooled economist agree that when private spending (with credit or cash) has subsided during a recession, government spending is necessary to jump start the economy. FDR and Reagan (yes Reagan! - by increasing defense spending) both increased govt spending;
4) Like most Republicans, you keep rehashing the "Jobs' Creator Myth"....Reagan raised taxes in the 80s to tame the deficit; Clinton raised taxes and increased Jobs....Most investment business people decide to make are made pre-tax; not after tax....
5) Obama is discussing raising the income tax on millionaires; not small businesses... additionally, your tax rate is determined in business by profit; not revenue... Most small businesses in this country do not clear $250k let alone $1M...

Now this is equity, buddy. this is wealth. this is what they transferred upwards to themselves. don't you get it? people who have contributed to their retirements in 401K plans have seen a loss of a lot of money - again transferred up to the banks and to the rich. don't you get it? the banks lie when they say they have paid back the TARP. The reciprocal of these factors mentioned is that the top rich and wealthy families, individuals and trans-national corporations are perpetually getting more wealthier and hording more of the Earth's resources through oligarchial and plutocratis means such as excessive tax credits, long-term government subsidies and pro-corporate legislation that wipes that rest of us completely out of the scene. It's serious business, and vague, accusatory statements from Hermain Cain is of no value to anyone, even himself.

Great pic man I feel sorry for the young brothers that don't know what it is to see a beautiul black woman in all her glory rocking a full blown natural. Quick story when I was about 13 years old there was this girl that was also 13 her name was Cyntha she was 5-7 tall 125 lbs she was the comlpection of Loren Hill. She had the short short and halter top on but what really set it off was her full natural Wow!!!. I can see her walking on the side walk in the projects now. She is a Doctor now. When I came outo f university, looking for an internship, white employers looked at me like I had a tail. It took a Italian/East Indian guy to hire me, and ultimately I started my own business, to make the money that I wanted. AN AMERICAN SPRING?
The popular democratic uprisings against Wall Street and the plutocracy has swept the nation, The occupations that began in New York have turned into a nationwide movement against economic injustice and despotism.
Like the labor uprisings last winter, which exceeded the scale of the corporate driven "Tea Party", this movement (which laobr seems to have joined)has beome (or is becoming) the biggeest movemnt for social justice since the 1960s.
It is a movment of the other 99% of the American people wo are being dispossessed by the 1% of billionaires and mulitmillionaire capitalists who have pushed us into poverty and plunged us into war in their mad pursuit of profit. It is made up of men and women, whites, blacks, latins and others. Involved the educated and so so educated. Youth--especially youth--but also Americans of every age. It has drawn to itself labor, civil rights communities, insurgent workers, students and intellectuals.
And it is essentially a NONVIOLENT MOVEMENT! I wonder if this isn't our American Spring fighting economic oligarchy as the Arab Spring of our Middle Eastern neighbors fights political oligarchy.
But if true be told, we too live under a politial oligarchy--or plutocracy--dressed up in the guise of political democracy.
And within our American spring, some insurgents seem to be on the verge of discovering or creating forms of DIRECT DEMOCRACY, real democracy rather than disguised plutocracy.
Moreover, it is of some significance that our Amrican Spring is nonviolent which pursuing economic justice.
If you recall, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the great apostle of NONVIOLENT RESISTANCE and ideas of NONVIOLENT REVOLUTION, was himself engaged with striking Memphis sanitation workers in a nonviolent fight for economic justice.
Dr. King was planning to lead a nonviolent Poor Peoples Campaign to Washington--a movement which could become nonviolent revolution, our first American Spring---when he was slain.
Now the spirit of Dr. King rises once more. It emerged in the Muslim Middle East in the Arab Spring in Tunisia, Egypt and numerous other countries.(Interestingly enough, I've read that liberal, non-fundamentalist American Muslims had been translating into Arabic and Farsee films on Dr. King as well a some of his writings in speeches to aid the rise of a nonviolent revolution in Middle East)
And now the fight for economic justice which consituted the final phase of Kingg's effort as a nonviolent revolutionary, has become the focus of a new nonviolent movement.
Could it mean the end of corporate oligarchy, the end of economic exploitation which was the original soil out of which the degradations of racism arose?
NONVIOLENT REVOLUTION? Impossible some believe, as the ending of slavery and monarchy were once believed impossible.
But humans has often shown humanity's capacity to achieve the "impossible."

I understand that these corporations are sitting on trillions of dollars that can be used to employ people and get America back on its feet. Does President Obama or whoever have to gather these corporate leaders all together and make them do the right thing?
You'd have to understand simple economics to be admitted to the club, we understand.

1 day agoI went to school, but the could not afford to finish. I got a job, but did not pay enough to cover my student loans. I was forced to file for Chapter 13. I make 24K gross/19.5K net at the University where I used to be a student, but now can't take any classes becuase I still owe them money. My grocery bills keep going up as the cost of staples rise sin the world where milk is more expensive than gasoline. I keep a roof over my head, but I have to pawn things to get the car I need to get to work repaired.
In 2010 GE made 14 billion dollars in profits while paying zero taxes, then moved a significant division of their company to China. This year my University took a 43 million dollar funding cut. Where do you think that came out first? The non-tenured faculty, the boots on the ground teachers, that did not have their contracts renewed. So now we are trying to teach as many student with fewer teachers, jamming kids into 250 seat classes, while our educational standards decline. What are we now? 34th in the world?
And we are looking at more funding cuts coming down the road, as the wealthy and corporations continue to line their pockets.
So I have a job, and I am protesting because that is what Americans do when they are getting screwed.
